Cost of Living for Tier 4 Student
£1,265 (£ 11385) per month for living costs if you are studying in London for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time);
£1,015 (£ 9135) per month for living costs if you are studying outside London or anywhere else in the UK for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time).
Cost of Living for Dependants
In London you must have at least £845 (£7605) per month to support yourself
Outside of London, you must have at least £680 (£ 6120) per month to support yourself.
For the duration of the student’s leave up to a maximum of 9 months
TIER 4 STUDENT VISA
Tier 4 visa category caters to students who have been admitted to different UK universities. It started in 2009 &was introduced to simplify the student visa process and the requirement for this visa is same for student coming any country.
CATEGORIES OF TIER 4
There are two student categories in Tier 4 of the points-based system:
General student
This category includes students who want to enroll in main program in UK universities.
Child student
UK offers schooling visa for children’s between age of 4 and 15, and a separate category is designed for such applicants.
UK TIER 4 Student Visa (POINTS BASED SYSTEM)
To be able to secure UK Tier 4 Student visa it is mandatory for all student applicants to get 40 points. 30 points are allotted for CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies), which is issued by Universities & Institution. 10 Points are allotted for the funds (which includes living funds + unpaid tuition Fee) Living expenses for Inner London Universities are £ 11385 (£ 1265 per month for 9 months) and if the university is in outer London £ 9135 (£ 1015 per month for 9 months)
Incase of spouse or dependent child for each applicant you need to add £ 7605 for Inner London & £6120 for outer London University.

Post Study work Permit in UK
